Room 3's Taniwha stories

I saw a Taniwha.  It had big teeth and a long body.  It had a black tongue and it has sharp claws and red teeth and eyes.

I sat down by the river and watched the Taniwha.  He dived under the water and he ate fish and sharks.  He is fierce because he has sharp teeth.  I stood up and I waved to the Taniwha.  He came up to the shore and he gave me a high five.  I wonder if he will come back.  I wish that he will come back to give me some more high fives.

One day I went walking down to the sea.  Suddenly I saw a Taniwha!  He had red eyes.  He had sharp teeth too.  It had a really dangerous tail.  It had a big body and sharp claws on his feet and his hands too.  It looks red and yellow and black.  It looks really scary.  I had wriggly lines all over its body and its head and its fingers and toes too.

I sat down and I watched the Taniwha.  I watched the Taniwah looking for treasure and swimming into the cave.  He was hiding the treasure in the cave with him.  At night he sleeps and he digs for food.

I stood up and I waved to the Taniwha.  He waved back to me.  I wonder if I will ever see her again and play with her.

One day I went walking down to the ocean.  Suddenly I saw a Taniwha!  He had Maori patterns and his eyes are red.  His teeth were sharp and his claws are sharp too.  I sat down by the ocean and I watched the Taniwha.  The Taniwha was jumping and flipping into the ocean.  He was looking for treasure.  I stood up and waved to the Taniwha.  He waved back to me.  I wonder if I will see him again.

One day I went walking down to the ocean.  Suddenly I saw a Taniwha!  He had great big eyes.  They were red.  He also had enormous pointy teeth.  His tail was dangerous so it could protect itself.  He has sharp claws on its feet.  He was kind of fat and had zig-zags on its tummy.  What a scary Taniwha.

I sat down by the ocean and I watched the Taniwha.  He was swimming but suddenly he fell a sleep- fast asleep.  A few minutes later I saw im flying.  He was doing loop the loops up in the air. He got worn out so he went to scare people.  They were terrified!  The Taniwha did a really bit ROAR  ROAR ROAR!!!!  I stood up and I waved to the Taniwha.  He waved back to me and then he vanished and popped up in front of me.  He gave me a high five.  I wonder if I should take a picture of him so I can remember him.  Bye bye Taniwha.

I saw a Taniwha.  It had big teeth.  It had a long body and a black tongue.  He is kind of fat.  I sat by the sea and I watched the Taniwha.  He was surfing on the waves and he was doing back flips and he farts a lot.  It smells gross.   I stood up and I waved to the Taniwha.  He swam up to the shore and he waved tome with his tail.  I wonder if he wants to come with me to school.

I sat down by the sea and watched a Taniwha.  The Taniwha jumped over the rocks and under the rocks.  He is doing flips in the sea.  He is flying up in the sky.  He is climbing a tree.  He can swim to find treasure.  I stood up and I waved to the Taniwha.  She gave me a ride.  I wonder if I should get my togs on and go for a swim with the Taniwha?  It would be fun.

His eyes are red.  He’s got a big mouth.  He gave me a ride on his back.  His tail was scaly.  His back had koru patterns.  His claws are sharp.  I like that Taniwha.  I sat down by the beach and I watched the Taniwha.  My Taniwha is looking for treasure.  Now he is camouflaged.  Suddenly he dived into the water.  He showed me some tricks.  He did back flips and much much more.  I clapped and clapped.  I stood up and I waved to the Taniwha.  She came to shore to give me a high five.  I wonder if he will come back.  I hope he will come back.

He gave me a wave with his tail.  I wonder if he will stay so I can be friends with him.

One day I went walking down to the river.   Suddenly I saw a Taniwha!  He had sharp teeth and he had fire eyes.  He is big and he is strong.  I sat down by the river and watched the Taniwha.  The Taniwha was swimming down the bridge finding a place to dig a home and live in.  He then went to sleep on the surface.  When he woke up he jumped and did a flip.  I stood up and I waved to the Taniwha.  He ducked back down.  I wonder if he will come back to me and live with me?
